影片以一部“本应播出却被紧急叫停的纪录片”为线索,记录了一名男子与三位妻子共同生活的影像。网页设计师萩原浩司、作为家庭经济支柱的公司经营者中濑由子、前模特乾真理奈,以及护士内野枫——四名相关人士被召集到一起,观看了一段丈夫被杀害的录像。然而,随着影像逐渐展开,三位妻子却先后承认: 凶手是自己。爱、依赖、嫉妒与谎言交织在影像背后,纪录片的真实目的也随之变得模糊。这部被“禁止播出”的影像,究竟隐藏着怎样的真相?

平原上的迷途

  卡洛比安奇和多里亚诺是两个生活拮据的五十多岁男人,他们秉持着“绝不错过最后一杯酒”的人生哲学。在一次偶然的机会中,他们结识了朱利奥,一位性格内向、对人生感到迷茫的建筑学学生。这场看似不经意的邂逅,却逐渐演变成了一场穿越威尼斯平原的混乱公路旅行。  在旅途中,糟糕的建议、宿醉的困扰以及意料之外的友情,不断挑战朱利奥对人生和爱情的原有计划。这场旅程不仅重新定义了他们彼此的生活,也让朱利奥开始重新思考自己的未来方向。

  Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.  Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
