　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

 小学生典道（山崎裕太）与佑价（反田孝幸）等同伴们就烟花升腾而起时是扁是圆展开争论，无果后，众人困惑起来，为了将困惑解决，他们决定趁夏季花火大会的机会去燃放烟花的灯塔上一探究竟。典道和佑价同时暗恋的同学，早熟的少女奈砂（奥菜惠）因为父母离异怀起心事。一场在典道和佑价之间进行的五十米游泳比赛结束后，奈砂单约胜利者佑价陪她去看烟花，不想对方最终决定同大伙一起去灯塔。奈砂最终拉上比赛失败的典道上路，目的地却变成了火车站甚至更远的东京。
